Who are we?
Susie Bower is just passionate about gardens and anything involving donning a pair of wellies and getting muddy. Having worked in team management for a number of years and bringing up her two children she decided to spend more time doing what she loves. Completing a degree in Environmental Protection provided her with an in-depth scientific background enabling her to design gardens which are sympathetic to the local environment.

Susie Bower Gardens was formed with an experienced team of trusted and knowledgeable colleagues, enabling Susie to produce gardens which would grow more beautiful year on year. Pat assists the team with her vast knowledge of plants in all their varieties whilst Ant and Tom provide the necessary muscle for the heavy work.  A select number of trusted, local hard landscapers are used for the construction.

“Having worked for other design companies I found that gardens were rarely designed with real consideration for the local environment, or the levels of upkeep required for maintaining the garden on a long term basis. I wanted to work more closely with my clients to enable them to realise their dream garden, whilst ensuring it was both functional and appropriate. A garden can take a reasonable period of time to create so it is essential that the client, the team and I, all like each other and can communicate effectively.  I am passionate about what I do and like to ensure that the client enjoys the creation process as much as I do.”
